International hotel chain
We worked with Yotel to support their international expansion into the US. Our focus was on planning site architecture, localised content, and an internationalisation strategy to drive growth in key cities.

01 - The challenge
Yotel were launching flagship hotel locations across major US cities. They needed a strategy to localise content and optimise the site for international audiences. The objective was to gain organic visibility for 'hotel + location' searches in areas where they previously had no presence.
02 - What we did
We developed a localised content plan for each US location and mapped out the surrounding site architecture. We focused on creating local guides and content which built topical clusters around new locations pages. We supported with domain internationalisation and the implementation of hreflang to ensure Google understood which version of content was targeted at each location.
03 - The results
Organic traffic from the US increased 4x following the expansion. The strategy drove increased visibility and engagement across all new international locations.
